Experience
as
a
Foreign
Language
Learner As
a
native
Chinese
speaker,
I
have
always
been
interested
in
foreign
languages.
I
began
learning
English
in
elementary
school

continued

since.
My
name,
Gu,
is
often
mispronounced
by
non-Chinese
speakers,
but
it
has
never
deterred
me
from

learning. One
of
the

Despite

skills,
but
also
exposes
me
to
the
cultural

language. Overall,
I
have
found
that
learning

language

many
friends
from

the
world
through
